One of doesn't have sufficient control of their circumstances, and our society tends to stigmatize people with unfavorable conditions despite their contributions to the world. This is true in the case of people living with various disabilities who often become marginalized from their communities, although they have often been the source of invaluable progress, knowledge, and innovation such as physicist Stephen Hawking and Arabic Literature connoisseur Mostafa Saadeq Al Rafe'ie. 

In this studio, we will work to solidify the role of people with disabilities in society. This will be done through a combined effort between a center in Reyhanli and Karam House students. We will learn together how to introduce new ideas and create an artistic vision. Moreover, our students will go deeper into the daily life of people with disabilities and the difficulties they face during their work. Karam House students will also hold group discussions to come up with inspirational ideas for the studio outcome: a mural.

There will be several phases during the weekly meetings from putting an action plan to implementing it in the best way, and our students will make some tools that make it easy for those individuals to paint on walls. Walls have been chosen for this purpose adjacent a center for the disabled in Reyhanli.
