In this studio students will build a series of bridges through which they will learn about the methods used in building and designing bridges, including concepts of endurance and power distribution. Bridges will be tested based on how fast and far they can launch toy cars into the air, hence the studio title. This will make the design of these bridges more challenging, adding a twist to the traditional load bearing concerns of bridge design.
