Pick Your Mystery Object

Find a random object from your studio: something that has a certain function that can be improved (e.g., a shoe, scissors, hammer, goggles, pliers, headphones…).

Think about what problems users face when using your object and about what can significantly solve that problem.

Use your mystery object as a key part of a brand new invention to solve your chosen problem.

• Rough sketch? Great.
• Mini physical prototype? Even better.
• Give it a cool name and write a short tagline.

Prepare a presentation on the platform and get ready to pitch to your colleagues in the studio.

you'll have one minute to present it.

Include:

2. What’s your invention and how does it work?
3. Why is it useful, fun, or clever?

Be mindful of your time and of how to capture your audience's attention.

You have one minute to convince them of your product!

Your mission for today is to design a compelling pitch presentation for your summer-themed product as if you were stepping into the Shark Tank to wow the investors. You can use canva or google slides. Submit your work at the end (link + Pdf + Video)

Your pitch presentation should include:

• Slide 1: Brand Name & Logo
• Slide 2: The Problem ( An image showing the challenge) with quotes from the interview
• Slide 3: The Solution ( Who’s it For + what it is + how it works & images of your product)
• Slide 4: Storyboard
• Slide 5: Poster (Bold text of the tagline over an image or color background)
