We are the protagonists in the story of our lives, which is why we know quite a lot about its past and present. But has anyone considered narrating their future dreams and unveiling their hopes about their studies, work, the space in which they wish to live and other ambitions?

Do we have a responsibility to shed light on the beautiful side of our lives to increase our chances of having a bright future, instead of being stuck in re-living the aftermath of our past disasters and our current problems?

To get to the truth behind anything, we have to experience it with our senses. Following this logic, students shall learn design and a fair few mechanical manufacturing techniques to develop their work in a way that will transform the viewers’ perspective to see said truth realistically.

In this studio, students will learn how to tell a story in more than one way (through speaking, writing and videography - using action figures). They will have to dig deep into themselves to extract positive dreams about their future by unlocking their imagination and visual memory to discover the hidden secrets of their world and the private space in which they will live. Then, they shall embody their ideas through a fixed medium, a 30 by 30 by 30 empty box, whose interiors can be seen through a hatch that gives the viewer an idea about the atmosphere students expect from their future in the form of miniature made of origami and materials available to us to give us three-dimensional shapes gathered to represent visual dream embodied in front of us.

حياتنا عبارة عن قصة نعيشها ونحن أبطالها لذلك نعرف الكثير عنها ماضيها وحاضرها. لكن هل فكر أحدنا برواية أحلامه المستقبلية وكشف النقاب عن ما يتمناه عن دراسته وعمله ومساحته التي يتمنى العيش فيها وغيرها من الطّموحات؟ وهل لدينا مسؤولية لتسليط الضوء على الجانب الجميل من حياتنا لنزيد فرصة الحصول على مستقبل مشرق بدل بقائنا نعيش آثار كوارث الماضي ومشاكل الحاضر فقط؟

لنعرف حقيقة أي شيء يجب أن نشعر به بحواسنا وفي هذا الإطار سوف يتعلم الطلاب تقنيات التصميم وبعض تقنيات التصنيع الميكانيكية لتطوير أعمالهم بشكل سيحول منظور المشاهدين ليروا الحقيقة هذه بشكل واقعي.

في هذا الأستديوسيتعلم الطّلّاب كيفيّة رواية قصة بأكثر من طريقة (عبر الكلام، الإنشاء، التّصوير بالفيديو - بواسطة المجسمات). سيقوم الطلاب بالنظر إلى حواسهم العميقة لإستقراء أحلام إيجابيّة عن مستقبلهم من خلال إطلاق العنان لمخيلتهم وذاكرتهم البصرية لتخيل خفايا عالمهم ومساحتهم الخاصة التي سيعيشون فيها، ثم تجسيدها من خلال مجسم فارغ من الداخل لا يتجاوز (30*30*30) يمكن رؤية ما بداخله من الخارج، من خلال فتحة تظهر لنا أجواء تحاكي توقعات الطّلّاب عن مستقبلهم على شكل مصغرات مصنوعة من الورق المطوي والمواد والخامات المتوفرة لدينا لتعطينا أشكال ثلاثية الأبعاد كلها مجتمعة تمثل حلم مرئي مجسد أمامنا.
