Syrian Food Culture
In this studio, we explored different cultures by designing symbols that represent each society's identity. We studied their customs and traditions, created artwork inspired by them, and printed these symbols on clothing to blend art with heritage in an innovative way.
My project focuses on Syrian food and its culture, as Syrian cuisine is known for its rich diversity and delicious dishes. The circular shape is used in the plates, such as kibbeh, which reflects the concept of family unity and hospitality. The large circle represents the dining table that brings family members together around the food. I used the color red because it stimulates appetite and attracts attention.
