Nighttime has the potential to be dangerous for anybody on the road, but it's particularly dangerous for pedestrians and cyclists. Indeed, according to Marc Green, Ph.D., pedestrian fatalities (adjusted for miles traveled) are three times more common at night.

Mycena Chlorophos Cave Mushroom :

It absorbs solar energy at daytime and produces pale green light at night.

The glowing fungi make light by using a chemical reaction, which involves luciferin, a luciferase enzyme, and molecular oxygen. This chemical reaction, called bioluminescence, is almost similar to how fireflies produce light.

Attract Attention

In order to disperse the cave fungus spores, the light emitting feature has been developed to ''attract the attention'' of other insects.

We have developed a hat design that ''attracts the attention of drivers'' in order to prevent traffic accidents for people as pedestrians
