It’s probably fairly obvious that smartphones have been the most impactful technological innovation of the past two decades, and mobile apps have dramatically transformed the way we live by unlocking new possibilities, improving productivity, accelerating the speed in which we can finish up work, and much more.

While the potential for mobile apps to transform the workplace and business is unlimited, such benefits do not materialize without a practically designed app that serves its intended purpose. In this studio, the students will first find a problem we encounter in our everyday life, and aim to solve it through an application of their own design. They will then paper-prototype the user interface of said apps.
