Since ancient times, humans have excelled by devising ways to record and photograph important events and epic stories, preserve and pass them on to future generations. The first was primitive drawings on the walls of caves and not the last of which are documentaries of our time.

Mosaic art is one of the most beautiful and complex of those artistic styles, the most widespread and transmissible across civilizations, perpetuating hundreds of mythological and religious stories, and continues to this day enjoys a high position among the fine arts.

In this studio, students will get to know themselves by sharing captures of events that took place with them that affected their lives and their raised their self-esteem, and embody these stories through the use of mosaic art to design a painting documenting this story. They will create art using local materials available at home, using the third, and possibly the fourth dimension in their works.

أبدع الانسان منذ فجر التاريخ بابتكار طرق لتسجيل وتصوير الأحداث المهمة والقصص الملحمية لحفظها ونقلها إلى الأجيال التالية. كانت أولها الرسومات البدائية على جدران الكهوف، وليس آخرها الأفلام الوثائقية في عصرنا الحالي.

ويعد فن الفسيفساء (الموزاييك) أحد أجمل وأعقد تلك الأساليب الفنية وأكثرها انتشارا وانتقالاً عبر الحضارات، مخلداً مئات القصص الأسطورية والدينية ولا يزال إلى يومنا هذا يتمتع بمكانة عالية بين الفنون الجميلة.

سيقوم الطلاب في هذا الاستوديو بالتعرف الى ذواتهم من خلال مشاركة لقطات من أحداث جرت معهم وأثرت على حياتهم وعلى تقديرهم الايجابي لذواتهم وتجسيد هذه القصص من خلال استخدام فن  الموزاييك بتصميم لوحة توثق هذه القصة   كما سيقومون بتطوير هذا الفن باستخدام مواد محلية متاحة في المنزل، وبإدخال البعد الثالث وربما الرابع إلى أعمالهم.
