Description:
Have you ever wanted to move a house… literally? We've all experienced  moving ourselves into a new space, or even moving a prefabricated unit  or any other structure with that ability. Thinking beyond that, how can  we imagine a house compressed to the size of a briefcase? What does that  mean, and how does it unfold itself? What type of space could we  compress into a small object, and what would its properties be?

In this Studio:
This  studio will explore the concept of the mobile home from an  architectural perspective. Is it in fact possible to always be on the  move yet also be at home? What would that proposition look like from an  architectural perspective? Through drawings, models, prototypes, and  visualizations, students will use methods of art and architecture to  design and build places that can be inhabited and carried.

هل سبق لك أن أردت نقل منزل ... حرفيًا؟
نحن جميعا مررنا بتجربة الانتقال لمناطق جديدة, و لهذا سوف نحب فكرة وجود منازل جاهزة و يمكن رفعها ونقلها بسهولة ،ولكن هل يمكن أن نتخيل منزلا بحجم حقيبة سفرية ؟  كيف يكون هذا المنزل ؟وما شكل الأثاث بداخله, ماذا لو كان يبني نفسه بلمسة واحدة, أو ماذا عن المساحة التي يحتاجها ؟ وكذلك المادة التي صنع منها ؟

- في هذا الاستوديو:
سوف يستكشف الطلاب مفهوم المنزل المتنقل من منظور معماري. هل من الممكن في الواقع أن نكون في حالة تنقل دائم ولكن مع منزلنا؟ كيف سيبدو هذاالأمر من منظور معماري؟ 
من خلال الرسومات النمذجة الثلاثية الأبعاد و وبناء و تصور نماذج أولية، سوف يستخدم الطلاب أساليب الفن والهندسة المعمارية لتصميم وبناء منازل للسكن يمكن حملها ونقلها بسهولة.
