One morning, Ömer saw a cute rabbit at the animal market. Its fur was soft, and its color was a warm brown. Ömer instantly fell in love with this rabbit at first sight. He named it Lucy. Little Lucy was so sweet that Ömer's heart filled with happiness. He took her home and made a nice corner for her. Every day, he took care of her and never held back his love.
That day, Ömer went out to buy fresh vegetables for Lucy. Along the way, his mind was always on Lucy. "I wonder what she’s doing now?" he thought. When he returned from the market, he hurried his steps in excitement. But when he arrived home... Lucy was nowhere to be found.
The small cage was empty. Ömer's face clouded with worry. "Lucy? Where are you?" he started calling out.
Just then, a faint rustling sound came from inside the house. Ömer listened carefully. The sound... was coming from the room.
He quietly entered the room. And there she was, Lucy!
She was happily hopping around on the soft carpet, exploring her surroundings. With her big brown eyes, she looked at Ömer and made one more little jump, as if saying, "Hello, you missed me, didn't you?"
Ömer took a deep breath and then smiled.
"Oh, you naughty rabbit, I missed you so much!" he said.
From that moment on, Ömer decided to watch Lucy more carefully but also allowed her to explore. Because Lucy wasn’t just a rabbit; she was Ömer's closest friend. And friends, no matter what, are always found, always loved.
