My project reflects the art of Syrian architecture, where I drew inspiration for my typographic design from the decorative motifs and patterns that characterize this ancient art. I chose patterns symbolizing jasmine flowers, which reflect a sense of belonging and unity. I also adopted the color green, which is considered the most impactful on the human soul, as it is associated with meanings of peace, security, and stability. Green also represents abundance and blessings and is used in religious practices as a symbol of goodness and prosperity.
