Activist Installations With the 2018 midterm elections flooding media outlets with campaign stances and interviews, we are reminded of the importance of using our voice to impact our communities. Sometimes looking at the national and even statewide level can be intimidating, but this studio will give students the opportunity to use their design and fabrication skills to advocate for a better school-wide community. 

In this studio, students will choose a specific issue relevant to their school community and design ways to inform, promote or create engagement around their topic through interactive installations on the school campus. Through multiple iterations, research, and feedback, we will explore various angles of these issues and make informed, intentional choices about location and methods. The goal of the semester is for students to not only explore their own ideas of what an "ideal community" is but to be empowered to communicate those ideas in creative and innovative ways.

كان لحملات الناشطين اثر على الانتخابات النصفية عام ٢٠١٨  في اميركا وذلك بسبب تاثيرها  على وسائل الإعلام من خلال  المواقف المحكية و المقابلات التي قامت بها هذه الحملات ، هذه الحملات تذكرنا بأهمية استخدام صوتنا للتأثير على مجتمعاتنا.في بعض الاحيان ممكن ان يصل التهديد لمواطنتك او هويتك ، لكن هذا الاستوديو سيمنح الطلاب الفرصة لاستخدام مهاراتهم في التصميم والتصنيع للدعوة إلى مجتمع أفضل على مستوى اماكن المدرسة

في هذا الاستوديو ، سيقوم الطلاب باختيار قضية محددة ذات صلة بمجتمعهم المدرسي وتصميم طريقة للإعلام أو للتشجيع أو  للجذب حول موضوعهم من خلال حملات الناشطة التفاعلية في الحرم المدرسي. من خلال عمليات البحث والتعليقات وردود الافعال المتعددة ، سوف نستكشف زوايا مختلفة من هذه القضايا ونتخذ خيارات مدروسة  حول المشروع وطريقة تنفيذه. الهدف من هذا الاستديو هو ألا يستكشف الطلاب أفكارهم الخاصة حول "المجتمع المثالي" فحسب ، بل أن يتم تمكينهم لتوصيل هذه الأفكار بطرق مبتكرة .
