Dania’s workshop “Business Journalism 101” will work with students interested in journalism, business/economy, and feature writing. Feature writing is innovative journalism. It allows you to be creative with journalism writing. It is news written in Non-Fiction but also soft news, usually talking about a human-interest piece.

Dania will approach this through Business journalism. Business journalism need not be a specialised field. A business article or feature should be read by your grandma and trader alike. Through this course, she will teach students how to understand the process of writing a business feature without having studied business or economics. Dania herself is an English literature graduate and she wants to demonstrate to the class that anybody can write about business, with the right tools. The essence of business journalism is being a good reporter

who does thorough research and that’s what students should be able to do by the end of the course.
