This studio begins with the thread itself, a seemingly weak and feeble item, but which in numbers becomes strong and sturdy. This studio will examine the extensive application of a thread, from a single form to knitted fabric and more sturdy textiles, all the while rethinking the concept of fabric as a purely wearable material

 Students will experiment with fabric and textiles and develop innovative objects for everyday use, that will be tested by their peers for functionality, durability, and enjoyability.
