Description
In this brainstorming activity, we will generate the ideas that will define our group project concepts. We will begin by creating individual lists of ideas, then share all ideas as a group on a dedicated "Pin-up Board" using writing, sketching, post-it notes, and plenty of productive discussions.
Deliverables
At the end of this activity, the group will have created a comprehensive collective brainstorming board. Using this resource, the Studio Facilitator will:
Allocate time to pair partners for each project (Project Pairs).
Create Project Folders before the next studio session.
Note: The next studio session will begin by sharing the selected project concepts and announcing work partnerships.
The Pin-up Board Setup
To ensure the board reflects the "Rules of Collective Brainstorming," please divide it or use the following tools:
"Quick Sketches" Section: Drawings don't need to be perfect; the goal is to communicate the idea.
"Wunder-links" Section: Where we draw lines connecting furniture, toys, and spaces.
Colored Post-it Notes: Use colors to distinguish between (Furniture Type, Function, Target Audience).
