Project Description:

I made an igloo using cardboard and styrofoam. First, I built a sturdy base with cardboard. Then, I stacked styrofoam pieces to form the dome, shaping them to look like ice bricks. I made sure the entrance was strong and added texture to make it look like packed snow. It took some time, but I loved seeing it come together!

Project Inspiration:

I built my igloo as a way to connect my last name, Frost, to the cold places where igloos are found. Just like frost covers the ground in icy beauty, igloos provide warmth in freezing conditions. My project brought that idea to life—a strong, winter-themed shelter inspired by my own name and the snowy landscapes.
