Outfits are a fundamental part of our identity, as they are an essential tool to express our culture. How we dress helps others form ideas about who we are, since it is a clear indicator about our lifestyle choices and adherences.

Students will learn how to analyze a certain case and convert it into a visualised, concrete message delivered through clothing, that reflects their identity. Sewing and needlework will take a massive part in the design process, for the intention to revive these professions.

Issues can either be local or worldwide, therefore we will be learning about ideas that are not always discussed, and we will share them and see their effects on our daily life.

In this studio, we will invent new wearable pieces that concretise different concepts and raise issues, which can be worn or added to our clothes.

الزي جزءًا لا يتجزأ من الهوية ومن أبرز الوسائل للتعبيرعن الثقافة التي ينتمي إليها المرتدي، حيث يخبرنا اللباس أفكارًا عديدة عن مرتديه، وذلك لأنها تعبير ملموس لاختيارات ذلك الإنسان في حياته ويعبر عن انتمائه بشكل أو بآخر.

سيتعلم الطلاب كيفية تحليل القضية وتحويلها إلى شيء مرئي ملموس يساهم في إيصال رسالة أصحاب هذه القضية والتي تكون جزء من هويتهم. كما سيتم استخدام التطريز والحياكة اليدوية كجزء أساسي  من تصميم القطع بهدف إعادة أحياء هذه الحرفة وبذلك يتم إيصالها إلى أكبر شريحة ممكنة من المجتمع بواسطة القضايا التي يتناولها الاستديو.

في هذا الاستديوسنقوم بابتكار قطع تعبر عن مفاهيم وقضايا عديدة بحيث نستطيع ارتداؤها أو إضافتها على الملابس، قد تكون القضايا عالمية أو محلية أو قضايا شخصية وبذلك يكون الاستديو فرصة لنشر هذه القضايا التي تؤثر على حياتنا اليومية وخاصة التي لا يتم تسليط الضوء عليها.
